Democrat Darcy Burner, who narrowly lost to Republican Rep. Dave Reichert in the hotly contested 2006 race in Washington’s 8th District, demonstrated Thursday that she is staying true to her pledge in her concession speech: “This isn’t an end, it’s a beginning.”
