OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) -- Fred Jarrett, who has warned his Republican Party for years about veering rightward, finds some bittersweet vindication. The representative is the last state Republican lawmaker standing in the suburban districts that girdle Lake Washington - turf once solidly GOP.
